ποΈ Inroduction
Circonus dashboards are a collection of visualization panels. Circonus provides many different types of visualizations.
ποΈ Working with Visualizations
Circonus dashboards and reports contain one or more visualization panels. Each visualization acts as a communication tool, enabling you to understand some aspect of your data. With visualizations, you can monitor current values, analyze trends, and diagnose issues with ease.
ποΈ Alert Visualizations
The Alerts visualization supports two visualization types: trend and table.
ποΈ Time Series Builder Visualizations
The Time Series Builder is a powerful tool, that empowers you to create different charts and visualizations from your metric, log, and trace time series data. You can leverage the Time Series Builder to produce both straightforward visualizations and extremely complex ones with relative ease.
ποΈ Bar, Line, and Area Chart Visualizations

ποΈ Map Visualizations
Circonus provides two different map visualizations:
ποΈ Gantt Chart Visualizations
Gantt charts show the start, end, and duration of unique events in a sequence. Gantt charts are useful in trace analytics, telemetry, and anomaly detection use cases where you want to understand interactions and dependencies between various events in a schedule.
ποΈ Goal and Gauge Visualizations

ποΈ Heatmap Visualizations

ποΈ Markdown Visualization
The markdown visualization enables you to create a rich text visualization that can be used to provide additional context to dashboards.
ποΈ Pie and Donut Visualizations
Pie and donut visualizations provide a quick breakdown of the overall composition as well as a comparison of slices to an overall pie. If you're specifically looking to compare slices, this is better done with a bar chart. Please note that pie and donut visualizations are optimized for logs and trace data.
ποΈ Tag Cloud Visualizations
A tag cloud visualization is a visual representation of text data, typically used to visualize free-form text.
ποΈ Timeline Visualizations
Timeline is a time series data visualizer that enables you to combine independent data sources within a single visualization. Itβs driven by a simple expression language you use to retrieve time series data, perform calculations to tease out the answers to complex questions and visualize the results.
